Title : ‘Recitation”
Medium : Acrylic
Size: 200cm height x 100xm Width
In the Peak of my maternity leave /MC , I’ve decided to fill up my time and extend my artistic flair by composing new Masterpiece to satisfy myself – yet at the same I can filled up my empty wall in my house by the stair case. It took me couple of weeks to complete my painting.
What I’m trying to express in my painting is basically related to Soul Searching Journey to Peace. How meditation and recitation helps one’s soul towards peace and enlightenment. When you think of it again….Yeah! it’s kinda sound like spiritual especially the outcomes came from within me..(I was taken aback myself …. don’t ask why – it just happen without me realizing it until towards the end).

I’ve made some of the Dulang Hantaran for my brother’s wedding recently, consisting of total 13 dulang.
Theme of his wedding is quite traditional with an essence of East Coast esthetics value in its decoration yet simple.

Alas!!!…. my major king size quilt has finally completed. It took me almost 1 year to finish it all. The best part is that – it is 100% hand sewn ( literally every pieces attached on-it and to-it). Inspired by Japanese Fine Craft works.. I was fascinated with their passion and skills and eventually it occur to me to creates my own master piece from a scratch – and I did !!! Now I’m glad it’s completed and proudly to say….I’m Lovin’ It !!!

Do apologize for my late post due to some circumstances that had tide me down. Anyhow, I just would like to share my recent handy work which eventually completed. (What a relief) … It ain’t never easy to fully focus one each project- considering I have few projects overlapping one another.
What I’ve made here is my new knitted shirt…I always wanted a bright red yarn for my knitting project and indeed I did!. Honestly this particular project has taken most of my time…I’ve resized the shirt twice and using 2.5 and 2.75 needle size all the way until it finished. Imagine how long it would take me.. Moreover I kept juggling all my projects when I started to get bored with one.
Next project I shall to do some of my baby pieces like little cardigan, booties and perhaps baby hood /hat. (its either knitted or crochet) That will keep me busy for at least a week.
